Best experience working with a realtor by far! Shelleys expertise and knowledge was so helpful in our house search as well as in the sale of our house. She was there to help answer any and all questions. She got to know our family during the process and was better able to help us figure out what we were really looking for in a house. I'll start by saying that anyone who knows me or who has worked with me, will recall me telling them that I'm not a fan of working with people in a few different career fields....real estate, attorneys, car or jewelry sales, etc. I want to say however, that working with their company, Turning Point really shattered that barrier for me! Shelley was my agent, and she is down-to-earth, very pleasant to deal with, and dressed casually and talked openly with me, just as I would with any other friend. There was no pressure and she was very honest and very up-front about everything. She's also very knowledgeable about building codes and keen about house flaws (I even learned a couple of interesting things!), and was very accurate and complete in the listing description for potential buyers. My transaction as a seller went smoothly from start to finish, and she kept me informed with phone calls, texts, and emails throughout every move. As someone who built his own home and had never bought or sold one before, the experience was all new to me. I'll admit there was a bit of anxiety on my part here and there, such as, "do you need anything from me?" or, "when is this/that again?," or, "what do I do next?" (Sorry Shelley...haha!) She never lost patience with me and always quickly answered questions (even after hours) and kept me updated as we went through the process. I have to admit that I honestly took note of her working very hard from the moment she originally looked at it...writing notes, drafting my seller's contract, meeting the photographer, posting the property online in various places, spending a few hours during two of her middays on the weekend doing an open house (even taking time between potential buyers to do a "Facebook Live" walk-through!), and cordially meeting with us all at the closing. Thank you, Turning Point, for making me feel calm and comfortable throughout this transaction! You turned my initial negative energy of having to deal with this career field (real estate) into a very positive feeling. I also want to thank you again for giving back to the local communities through support of local law enforcement, and in other ways we casually discussed as well. It was truly a pleasure working with you, and you will absolutely be my first choice again when I have another property to sell!
