Called about my A/C not keeping up with cooling the house and running constantly. I asked for him to diagnose the problem and let me know. After an hour of him outside, he came and told me the system was low on refrigerant and he charged it. First, he should not have charged my system without informing me first. Second, if a system needs to be charged, there is a leak somewhere, but he never even checked for one. When I asked about the leak, he just said it could be a small one and the charge could last anywhere from a month to years. Seemed like he didnt even want to check for leaks at all. As a professional, he should have informed me of my options before going ahead and charging my system. If he had, I would have used the $400 to instead put towards replacing my 20 year old unit. Now Im just hoping the charge lasts at least until next year to recoup the money to have my unit replaced. With this heat, its again struggling to keep up. In the end, I would highly recommend staying away from this company for any repairs.
