Day after Christmas, I called, and Bill was to my house assessing the situation within 10 minutes. I felt listened to and was part of the problem solving process. Fantastic service!

I have not yet had the experience of the services of Bill's Plumbing & Heating, however, I am a member of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Men's Track and field team. We were having a team practice on Valley Road, which is a public road, open to free use by anyone, when one of the drivers of a Bill's Plumbing & Heating Van decided to run myself and some of my teammates off the side of the road. We we're following the rules of running on a public road and we had given him plenty of room to simply stay toward the center of the empty road, when he decided to steer his car into our direct pathways, narrowly missing us. He then decided to yell Explictives and flip the bird to the runners on the side of the road. He then decided to take it up with our coach and state, "I will not be moving for any of your runners on the road." I do not believe that this reflects the beliefs of the company as a whole, but this dangerous behavior and disregard for the safety of pedestrians by the driver was very uncalled for. Im sure we are not the only people who have had this problem in the past. As a member, of the community, I often see many pedestrians walking the streets of Platteville and many of which are young children. It would be a real shame if a young child or any other person was injured due to the ignorance of one of the drivers. I hope that Bill's Plumbing & Heating is able to identify the perpetrators of this act and are able to make the streets of Platteville safer for the people of Platteville.

I cant say I have ever requested service from the company, but that doesnt mean I havent interacted with them. As a member of the local collegiate cross country team, we often run on the road Bills is located on. Unfortunately, during our training, we have had close calls to being hit by one of their company vans on multiple occasions, despite running on the correct side of the road and leaving more than enough space for vehicles to pass. When asked about the situation, the driver stated I will not make space for anyone on this road. While looking at the other reviews for this company, it seems like they have a bright future ahead if they ensure all drivers of company vehicles have valid drivers licenses and have complete understanding of traffic rules and expectations. I believe this simple yet vital step would benefit the community greatly and promote safety in the streets of Platteville.
