I went into The hospital with severe Abdominal pain i explained to the doctor I thought I had a hernia due to physical strain that progressed over a matter of days. I was treated as a drug seeker right away, because i was open and honest about my history of amphetamine use They put my pain medication on hold till after a "drug screen" at wich point I was upset for being treated like a suspect when I've worked so hard to not let it ruin my self image. I deal with being looked down on, on a daily basis, but I do not accept that from my doctor. I refused the pain medication but The guy went Ahead and gave it to me anyways and what do you know? It didn't help. And I feel absolutely horrible from it.. although in pain because of the way I was treated. The doctor repeatedly loudly provoked arguements with me as i just wanted to sit quite and get a cat scan done wich expressed verbally so I could make sure I was okay and go home Even after I explained to them I have anxiety and panic attacks along with a variety of other mental illnesses at the beginning. While in the catscan room the nurse (although nice lady) somehow manged to spray me in the face with my own iv fluid that was gross. And my iv was bleeding everywhere when they were done I've never been treated so poorly by a medical establishment in my entire life. I went home immediately after the scan and told them if I needed surgery I'd be going elsewhere
