        We aren't big campers but thought it'd be fun. The closer Google maps told us we were, the lower my expectations sank.. It seemed like it was gonna be right off the highway! In fact it was.. but it was like discovering the secret garden! It felt like it's own happy picturesque little world. Very family oriented, lots of fun, silly games, prizes, weeks with fun themes, (like Christmas in July) a pool with a staffed a la Carte menu that even features some adult beverages, poolside and opens up to a large indoor space with games loads of showers, facilities, changing rooms, etc) We were impressed with the whole experience.       Alyvia, Safety is our number 1 priority at Stoney Creek and we enforce our rules to keep our guests safe. It states very clearly in all of our policies that children are not permitted to drive golf carts on our property. You must be 18 years or older with a valid drivers licenses. Your party was verbally told this and they signed a rental agreement where they verbally agreed, initialed where they understood driving ages and signed the agreement. An adult registered, took the registered wristband and gave it to a child to drive. Our manager saw the child driving and asked how they got a wristband and informed them they could not drive. They did not “scream” or “yell”, just told them they were breaking the rules and that they had lost their golf cart privileges. The entire interaction is on camera, if you’d like to review.
