    I'm utterly disappointed with my experience at Community First Credit Union. Despite specifically requesting an appointment with a mortgage loan officer during my call on 3/20/24, I arrived today for my scheduled appointment, only to be seated with someone who couldn't assist me since they are not a mortgage officer. It was made worse by the representative's apparent lack of concern and the manager's failure to provide a satisfactory resolution. This level of service is not acceptable, especially from an institution I was considering bringing multiple accounts to. As a result of this mishap and the subsequent poor handling, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

    This review is for Community First Credit Union as a whole, not for this specific branch. Overall, I would say I'm satisfied with the service and products offered by Community First. So why the one-star review, you may ask. The one-star review is because Community First Credit Union charges a fee but no service is provided. For example: If all overdraft protection is removed from your checking account, they still charge an overdraft fee if a purchase is kicked back to the vendor. I can understand a fee being charged if the CU covered the purchase amount (if protection were in place). But they charge a fee FOR DOING NOTHING! I called a competitor of theirs to see if they also charged this fee... THEY DO NOT. Response to Community First's comments below: I spoke to not one, not two, but three people at Community First. I was given the same company line: We CAN do it... so we DO it. Thankfully, your competitors only charge fees when they provide a service... not just cuz they can get away with it.

    This place has only gotten worse over the past 3 years. They have routinely. Inconvenienced me using the term fraud protection as their excuse. I have purchased food from a particular restaurant several times but all of a sudden it came up as a fraud attempt. Members owners is a complete joke

    Everytime I've gone in to get help with literally anything, every employee has been rude. They talk to me like I'm a total moron. I'm a young adult, and they act all high and mighty when I don't understand or know every part of how banks work. They allowed an $80+ scam charge through, but declined my card at walmart the next day (oh, and I never got my money back when they "helped" me try to get it back). The overdraft fees are ridiculous too! $25 when I was going to be $0.43 negative!!
