I am a frequent customer of Ulta and also a Platinum VIP. Over the past two years I have limited my visits to the retail store. When I would buy items that say "free gift with purchase", I would never get the free gift, in store. If I received anything it was a cheap travel size L'oreal item when I was buying prestige brand items. Makes me wonder if employees are taking the free gifts for themselves. This store hardly ever stocks their shelves. Why? Many shelves are empty of a product for months. Today, I entered the store and no one said "Welcome to Ulta, can I help you find something?" Instead, I hear two associates right in front of store, talking about quitting and getting more pay somewhere else. Then two salon employees talking about quitting and how they will miss each other. I gave this review two stars instead of one, because when I asked an employee about a fragrance, she was polite and helpful.

Stopped in to pick up a fenty foundation, got to the register and Erica asked me for my phone number to which i declined and wanted to continue to check out, she then shouted to 2 customers in line asking if they wanted to use their phone number to get free points because i didnt want to use mine. it was a very weird and passive aggressive experience

Worst customer service experience. I was in there with my girlfriend and the Mexican cashier lady had a terrible attitude and said to the other cashier dont give them a receipt so that she cant return it. Is that even something she can do? Someone needs to get fired.
