We were fortunate to have the experience of the Sherie Grass team to help us navigate the obstacles that arose. Sherie was always ready to help wherever needed and was patient with our changing thoughts on what we wanted. She knew the right house was out there for us. Well, she was right! I would recommend Sherie, Jessica, Cathryn, Alexa, Steph, and Toni a billion times over whether you are looking to buy or sell your home. Positive attitudes, clear communication, honest feedback, fun and engaging marketing. Everything you want in an expert real estate team! My husband and I had the goal of moving to Onalaska since late summer of 2020. Almost 3 years of scheming our families: "must have", "would be nice", and "definitely not" checklists for our next home. We smiled from ear to ear visualizing our life as a new family closer to work and school. Candidly: I started to lose hope at the end of 2022/early 2023, wondering if we would ever find what we were looking for. I know I am not alone as a prospective home buyer post pandemic feeling like something even slightly close to our dream home just didn't seem to be out there. We remained grateful for our sweet little home on the south side of La Crosse and kept saving hope (and dollars) that some day Late on a Friday night in mid March 2023, I read an email from Sherie from The Sherie Grass Team with the subject line, "Did you guys want to see this one? Looks nice!" and a link to a house that checked all our boxes. "Wouldn't hurt to take a look!" and Sherie Grass scheduled a showing. We were instantly sold at our Sunday morning walkthrough. Offers were due by noon on Monday. Timing is funny. What was supposed to be our pre-approval meeting turned into running the real deal mortgage scenarios with Angela Czerwinski from WNB Financial, who swiftly punched the numbers for us to be able to write a seriously competitive offer (accompanied by a painfully adorable letter to the seller). We were pulling out all the stops for this baby. Offer sent at 11:55am. Later that afternoon we learned our offer was the last of *ten* offers to be submitted... and accepted! We moved into our house in the heart of Onalaska in mid-April 2023 and have been so thrilled making ourselves at home ever since. Jessica Sands and Stephanie Ross sold our home on the south side of La Crosse after 6 days on the market, and only 30 days from pending to closing, AND over asking price. My husband said to me, Jeesh, I didnt know home buying and selling went this smoothly. When you work with the right people, the stress melts away. If you feel like you're spinning your wheels and doing all the right things but getting you nowhere, I can empathize with that feeling of defeat. This is your friendly reminder that when the time is right, whatever your heart is set on will come to fruition, maybe when you least expect it. I loved working with Stephanie and the Sharie Grass Team! They took care of everything from helping me find the right home to purchase to getting my home ready to sell! The sale of my home was so easy, they took great care in staging beautiful photos for social media posts and advertising. Stephanie was so sweet and listened to everything I was looking for in a new home. I will absolutely work with Stephanie in the future!
