One of my best breakfast experiences ever! Great hospitality and tasty dishes. Very nice to eat the many courses with the other guests. Spurs conversations!

Very nice, the restoration was an amazing project of love, the breakfast was great, and the owners/hosts really enjoyed sharing their stories about the barrin, the house, and what they had done. We lucked out picking this one.

The home was beautiful. It was meticulously clean. The couple was very friendly. The price was reasonable. I didn’t rate it at five stars for two reasons. My mother is elderly so I asked how many stairs there were. He said 12. Just know that although the stairs are beautiful, there are 20 in the spiral. So think twice before bringing an elderly person. Also, we were told we could arrive earlier than three. We arrived at 2:30 to find no one home and all doors locked. My mother is 94. It was a 95 degree day with extremely high humidity. They arrived finally at 4:15. This was dangerous and I felt they didn’t understand the potentially disastrous consequences. Needless to say, we were so drained that we were done for the day. It was such a disappointing arrival. They were such a lovely couple that I would have expected a sincere, repeated and profuse apology or a discount. I doubt the couple makes such errors normally, as their ratings would not be so good. So just call when you leave to be sure they will be there at your estimated time of arrival.
