        We mainly booked this room for the pool. It was FREEZING. My toddler would be able to swim about ten minutes with me before his teeth started chattering. The pool area itself is also quite chilly. We stayed in the William Bake suite but the door handle was impossible to manage. The patio door to the pool was also very difficult and required both arms to wrangle it open. Frustrating experience overall.

        Welcoming staff, and the cleaning team does an excellent job of keeping the rooms and common areas spic and span. Not upscale, but comfortable and fair priced. The continental breakfast is nice, with waffles on the menu, but would love to see a meat choice added to the offering. Also, and a clock to the pool area. Little things can make a big difference. Check this location out!

        The hotel was clean, quiet and nice. There was no real breakfast. The room was clean. There were a few things that were old and could have been updated. I would stay there again.

      Melissa,Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your stay, we are sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with the pool temperature and had difficulties with the door, we take guest feedback into consideration when evaluating ways to provide a good experience for all our guests and we will check into those concerns.Allow me to assure you that we keep our pool at a temperature controlled 84 degrees, which is above the recommended temperatures by pool experts and the American Red Cross. (between 78 and 82) We do understand that some infants, toddlers and older guests may prefer warmer water however and we will take that into consideration for the future.Thank you,-EconoLodge Oconto
