Inn at Pine Terrace | Mon Bijou Inn

We hosted our quaint wedding at this venue. Beautiful venue with half a star of service. -The owner failed to provide an executed copy of our contract. -Difficult & inconsistent to communicate with, (while being on vacation which isn't a problem, but provided unclear expectations, or prior to booking didn't reply back in a timely fashion). -We had, unknowingly, limited access on to areas of the inn, such as the kitchen, which resulted in our caterers having to work creatively to keep food warm and on time, asking other employees to stay late, and us having to wash dishes in the bathroom sink. We made due, but during our tour we talked about full access and were told that's "not a problem". -Learned, day of, the kitchen is a separate agreement. Which we can understand due to liability of kitchen features, but the owner knew caterers were scheduled, and could've informed us ahead of time. - We received an additional several thousand dollar charge to our credit card with no explanation, and no heads up or details as to what it was for. -We made every effort to ensure the place was spic and span after we left, no garbage, no mess, etc. We communicated directly with the cleaning staff the next morning on a walk through with them, and pointed out 2 areas we had issues with; a bedroom door knob fell off one of our guest's rooms(no, there was no funny business around "using it too hard") and a food box left a sweat stain on a table, where we offered to fix or replace, but we never heard back about it. We tipped the cleaning staff for making themselves available on the weekend for our event, saved them wedding favors and ensured they rec'd homemade cookies like the rest of our guests. The owners have done a great job making a beautiful space, but could be described as lackadaisical at the daily operations.

I have been contacting Inn at Pine Terrace for weeks trying to reserve a room for my wedding night. Their website has been down, I emailed and called and messaged on Facebook Messenger and have received no response. I would still love to stay here, but I'm considering other options now.

Still like it a lot, though the feeling and style entirely changed! I miss how the Inn looked like before! Anyway, beautiful comfortable , elegant, bed is very nice. ! Still worthy to stay , !
