AccentCare Inpatient Hospice Center at Ignite Medical Center-Oak Creek

I posted this originally months ago only to have them change the name of it from medical resort to inpatient hospice just to avoid BAD google reviews!!! The care hasnt changed still horrible run by the same people just the name change!! Changing your name to dodge bad reviews says a lot about the company!! I didnt even want to give this place a one star. Horrible!!! So horrible. Worst most devastating let down ever. We met before placing my mom there for rehab with an administrative staff (welcoming staff) she lied right to us. Promised us & my mom things that werent true. We were painted a pretty picture of the care & rehab she would receive. Its only 3 yrs old so our hopes were high. Once we got there with mom within an hour we were told that everything we had heard were false. They went right to the payments that were expected once rehab was done. Again we were there for all of an hour. Our hearts were so broken to have to leave her there. And that was only the beginning! The next few weeks showed their true colors. She went over a week with no shower or sponge bath. We had to repeatedly beg for a shower for her. Many meals showing up way later. AM meds given at 10:30 or 11. She was told many nights at 6pm it was bedtime. We stepped over dried blood on the floor 3 days in a rowonly cleaned up after our family pointed it out. Hours & hours spent in a wheelchair. Rehab charged for 14days when in reality it was maybe 10days worth. No one eats in dining room. Left over trays lay around for hours at a time. Beautiful rehab room. That many places would use full advantage of. As a family of 4 we rotated visits and that rehab room either had NO one in it or one person in there. We had a Racine agent visit us & my mom they were shocked that rehab room was empty at 10:30am. The administrative staff never returned calls. The head nurse also ignored calls. This place is one of the worse! Dont place your loved one here!! PS my mom has been gone from this horrible location for months & they are still causing us pain. They refuse to submit her bill to Medicaid & Medicare!!!

They changed the name so people can't see the old reviews. Let me help others who really need to know. Ask for the book of state findings on your tour. Don't let the pretty chandeliers or the beautiful cafeteria fool you. Staff os cold, rude and unprofessional. Seniors sit in dirty diapers, dirty sheets while the staff sit behind the counter eating their carry out food. Many times never an RN on staff. Please look up the Wisconsin State complaints

This place is terrible I wouldnt send a dog here .! I worked here for over a yr we were alwayssssss short staffed nobody from upper management would ever help us . Some patients wouldnt get touched all day due to us not having staff. Wouldnt recommend.!

Mom went home on 9/6/2022. She was there for about 2 weeks. First off, This place is amazing. VERY CLEAN, no smells. Fresh. Mary and Michelle were her care takers/nurse. They were outstanding and very attentive. The dr. that was there to take mom off the ventilator is very caring and kind. We were informed about everything, step by step, minute by minute. We felt so at ease and at Peace. It was a Peaceful transition. The ladies that sung were like Angels. We highly recommend this beautiful place for a person final journey home. We are so happy the hospital recommended this beautiful place. Thank you for making this hard time, easy. Blessings to you All. Mason and Michelle Oglesby (Lola C.)
