Injured my left shoulder at work and was given a bogus reason for denying my claim. They have a doctor they'll send information to and he'll diagnose you without actually seeing him in person, which is why they denied me even though I went to my own doctor who has seen me multiple times and knows my history and agrees that it is a work related injury. Seems like from the information provided they missed information that they gave him. They'll find any reason to deny you instead of relieving stress they add to it. Have co-workers with similar experiences. Surprised they're still in business. Tbh.

This company is absolutely abhorrent in their policies and treatment of injured workers. In particular, Amber S. I don't know how she sleeps at night knowing this is what she does to people all day. I was hurt at work recently, in addition to literally dozens of times over the years, caring for kids with severe-profound disabilities. I have had multiple concussions, bites, punched in the face, hair ripped from my head, I could go on and on. All for less than $20/hr. So early on in this school year, my neck was hurt for the probably 10th time and it was the straw that broke the camel's back. Now any small tweak and I am in pain for days or weeks at a time and unable to function. UH has decided that means nothing and refuse to allow intermittent leave for pain caused by a work injury. This means I am not paid. Which means I am not able to survive. I am not able to survive because I sacrificed my well-being and body to care for kids who really need care, and now the company who is supposed to help me get what I need is making it as difficult and stressful as possible. Shame on you all and shame on this whole racket. Shame on ISD 287 for using this company to do their dirty work. Employees are your biggest asset my a**.
