For any if you looking to get a great feel for what the AmericInn stay used to be like when it was its own entity before being bought by Wyndham, please check out Americinn by Wyndham Madison South. In order to get the old Americinn feel, youd need to visit one that is franchised with that owner wanting to keep up the property. The owner of this hotel is keeping it up to date, feeling and looking like the old school days. Customer service is also SPOT ON. General Manager Jack Patel is 5 STARS and is what youd want in a GM. Good value for what you get. The location is PERFECT with lots of dining & grocery options walkable. The rooms seem updated but could use a little more than spot cleaning. I was a little nervous being right at the top of the stairs on a busy weekend but we never heard noise unless the door was open, that was nice! The staff were always present and available if needed which was nice. The pool area is LOUD when it's busy.

Comfortable quiet hotel, I stay for a weekend. Close to UW Madison and restaurants. Clean and friendly staff.

Just want to start by saying Tyler who is working the front desk when we got there that night was absolutely fabulous :-) very courteous. We were hungry gave us some options on where to eat does an excellent job. Rooms are clean. I dont usually eat breakfast but they had sandwiches you can warm up in the microwave cereal toast Muffins plenty of stuff to snack on Walkability: There are plenty of restaurants near this hotel you can walk to. There is a Brews Brothers in the same parking lot.
