        Better training for employees is needed. A friend left behind their laptop at my house and I mailed it back to them in Canada. The laptop was barely worth $200 if that as it was old. Spent $75 to ship it. The agent checking me out didn't give me the option to choose how to ship it and marked it as "other", making it seem like the laptop was being shipped for sale. My friend was told by UPS in Canada that because of how it was processed, he had to spend $125 CAD just for it to be released. We literally could have bought a new laptop instead. The staff are normally kind, but other than returning Amazon orders, I wouldn't count on the staff to be knowledgeable here.

        I have used this place for shipping, Amazon returns and shredding. Service is always quick and friendly. Never had to wait in a long line. Lots of parking. 2/16/24 just an update took some papers to be shredded, price was very fair. The only issue I had was after the employee weighed my bag he took it somewhere in back. I would have preferred to deposit the papers in a secured bin myself or second best would be to watch the employee put the papers in a secured bin. Just not very trusting when it comes to sensitive documents. Lost a star for this.

      August, We are disappointed to hear of your experience. We try to ensure our customers receive the best service possible and we are very sorry for the difficulties with your shipment. We will review with staff members the importance of informing customers that duties and taxes may be assessed on shipped items, dependent on individual country regulations. We do not know what those fees will or will not be until they are assessed in the receiving country. The value range for Low Value Shipments is $40.01 CAD to $3,300.00 CAD. This applies to both document and non-document shipments and all service levels.The commodities listed below are exceptions to the Courier Low Value Shipment Program (CLVS) and require formal Customs Clearance through the HVS clearance process. (There are many listed the one pertaining to this shipment would be the following:) Personal effects (for example, Visitors on vacation/business, students, returning Canadian citizens, settler's effects);
