This brand is the best I've ever given to my animals. The quality, freshness and pure love put in to this product is beyond measure. I feel good supporting this woman owned local small business. Not only is the owner a dedicated animal lover but she has personally discussed my dogs skin issues and helped me choose the appropriate food to help Not harm her skin condition. I've worked personally with this owner for years and see the constant hard work she puts in to this product and the dedication she has for the animals it feeds. I wish we had more like her in this world, I really do. Keep up the good work. You have a furever client in me.

While Im a huge advocate of supporting locally owned small businesses, I also feel strongly that the integrity of the business owners should be on par with the quality of their product. Sadly, Ive recently found that this is not the case with Fresh Is Best and I will no longer be using or recommending their products.

When my 2-year-old Labrador Retriever started experiencing frequent diarrhea, his veterinarian suggested I eliminate grains from his diet. My neighbor was feeding his dog Fresh is Best raw food and recommended it to me. I made the switch and my dogs GI issues resolved. He lived to be 15-years-old, which is beyond the typical life expectancy for a Lab, and I credit his longevity to his Fresh is Best raw diet. When I got a new Lab puppy, there was no doubt I was going to feed him Fresh is Best from the start. When I discussed his raw diet with his new, very discerning veterinarian in California, she researched Fresh is Best and gave her approval and praise. The owners of the pet food company are compassionate and trustworthy and nurture their relationships with their customers. I recommend Fresh is Best to every single pet owner I meet!

I was so impressed when I first looked into using Fresh is Best dog food for my 2 dogs and I was told not to use their food for Emma who had a compromised immune system. Instead I was give a recipe to make her fresh food that contained all the nutrients she would need but the meat & veggies would be cooked to make it safer for her with her compromised immune system. The idea of not wanting to sell me their raw food and giving me a recipe and instructions to make her food was above and beyond service I think. I did start my other dog on the fresh food and she has been enjoying it for several years now. Can't forget the treats Cassie has never really learned to catch a treat but she tries harder when she knows it a treat from Fresh is Best and actually catches a lot of those.
