Avoid Cranial Tech if you can. I had a very bad experience with them, especially the clinician Jose Gonzales at Milwaukee's office. We had a first visit with Jose Gonzales on Dec. 8. He said my son's did not need treatment and he suggested repo and more tummy time.
After one month, my son's head shape got more uneven. So I scheduled a follow up with another clinician named Donna on January 11 at 2:50 pmn at Cranial Tech Milwaukee. In the morning on Jan. 11 while we were driving to Cranial Tech Milwaukee, I received a message from Cranial Tech that per my ped's recommendation that they cancelled our follow up visit.
I called my ped's office and they confirmed to me that they did not make such recommendations.
The only time they had a conversation with Cranial Tech was after my son's first visit. And what happened was that Jose told to my ped's office that my son did not need a helmet based on his evaluation and the parents might want to get a second opinion from a specialist at Children's hospital.
So I called Cranial Tech asking for clarification. The front desk picked up the phone and said Jose Gonzales would like to speak with me. Jose Gonzales talked me his recommendation stayed the same regardless the fact that he did not see my son after a month. He told me that if I still concerned about my son's head shape, I would never be able to be seen at any of the office at Cranial Tech because he has reported to the company and that his recommendation stay the same, and no follow up is necessary.
He seems to have super power and authority in this company! Thanks god, my ped referred me to Hanger clinic nearby and I have schedule an appt with them.
