Nice people to deal with.  Been a customer for 30 years at their original location which was in a industrial park in Glendale on bender road Carry some top tier lens.    Always feel like I got a fair deal when dealing with them.

Recently prepaid for new progressive lenses in favorite frames.  When received was unable to read with them.  Returned to store and met with optician who recommended remaking the lenses.  Received a phone call asking me to call the manager.  She required me to return to the optometrist who verified the lenses were improperly centered.  Paramount reluctantly remade the lenses.  Upon receipt I discovered that the centering was again improper.  Manager said it was "an easy fix" and asked me to return to the store to have the pads adjusted.  I did so with unsatisfactory results and was told "that's the best we can do".  Filed a complaint with the BBB which has been ignored.

I am very disappointed in this company. I paid for two pairs of shatter grade readers @ $300 total. For readers!??!Two months later there first pair broke when dropped. I could not get anyone at one of their stores to service me until I took time off work to go to the store! 30 days later, the second pair breaks in the same way?? Without being dropped? And then the manager instructs the sled clerk to inform me that their glasses only have a 30 day warranty? I told the clerk my experiences in lack of customer service and product quality on top of having to take time off work to get service!!!! I will never need warranty from this company again because I will NEVER BUY FROM PARAMOUNT AGAIN!!!!!!!

I could write a book on my experience with dealing with National Chains and how they treat (more accurately MISS-treat) their customers.  I decided to go local for my most recent pairs of glasses.  Paramount Optical is a shining star in a very dim galaxy of eyewear providers.  Dana, the Manager of both locations was simply fantastic.  They had what I needed, and at a fair price.  In fact my prescription safety glasses were less than I thought they would be!HIGHLY recommended!
