Lousy Krause. In all honesty, there really was no empathy or sympathy in our overall interaction with Krause funeral home, just a financial transaction. I was offered a Kleenex, but then it was stated that I could not have the whole box, although it was not a request. There were multiple inconsistent quotes for overall expenditures. Essentially, even if you have a policy to bequeath to them, you will receive little to no guidance or cogent and consistent correspondence. In case the lack of compassion isnt enough, employee professionalism and proficiency was also an issue such as profane language in the presence of the family, miss handled death certificates and unreturned phone calls. Not sure if Krause/Informed Choice has a licensed and qualified desairologist, our love ones make up was equivalent to a deep dark dark brown shoe polish administered to her face hours before viewing, a reference picture was not inquired about. It was extremely devastating and disheartening for this to be the last visual memory of our loved one. She was clothed correctly however, upon viewing her lower extremities the stockings provided were not completely on or not pulled up all the way. We also were not given the initial clothes our loved one was received in and was contacted three weeks later regarding this and Informed Choice make no effort to accommodate us on returning the articles and insisted that we make a long trip to pick them up or they would discard them. In closing, go to Piece of Mind Funeral home at least you get what you pay for. Krause was lousy.

I truly appreciate how the directors at Krause made my mother's final arrangements painless. The entire process was explained thoroughly and one visit was all that was needed to finalize services. They, also, offer grief support to the family, if needed. No one likes to say it aloud, but I would be remiss if I did not mention the favorable price difference to us, as well as the stress avoided, due to pre-planning with Krause. However, I really want to focus on the wonderful transport team. My mother passed away at our home. The two men who arrived to transport her body were very thoughtful. I was given materials that would help to facilitate making final arrangements & I was able to set a date to meet with a director. There was such care & respect shown, as my mom's body was transferred to the gurney. They, gave my daughter & me a choice of witnessing her transfer & offered to give us a moment of privacy to say a final farewell, after she was situated. They did not cover my mom's face until they were exiting to a public area. I followed them and watched as they placed the gurney into the hearse and drove away. I felt my mom was honored and that her dignity was preserved. Those two staff members made a difficult time much easier by their professionalism and kind attention to small details. My family and I are forever grateful.

Was quoted a price and then the price jumped to an additional $600!! Also never received my candle! This has been bothering me for two years.

Krause Funeral Home is very compassionate and professional when it comes to taking care of their families during their time of bereavement and grief. My family experienced a great loss and from start to finish, Krause was there for us every step of the way. We had no doubt that we would be cared for the way we were and even still, after the services are complete, were being checked on. I highly recommend Krause Funeral Home in your time of need. Thank you to Mark and the amazing staff that comforted our family, this will forever be in our hearts!

The staff at Krause Funeral Home was amazing. They were very accommodating from the beginning to the end. My mothers homegoing was beautifully done. Thanks Krause staff for the professionalism, comfort, and support you provided at the most difficult time in my life.
