I appreciate the convenience of having a grocery store within walking distance, but I am paying for that convenience with high prices. I don't know how anyone does their regular shopping here. If I go here, it's strictly a "don't want to drive to Aldi" decision, which I find myself making less and less, even for small trips it's worth making the schlep to Glendale. They do have delicious deli sandwiches though, and occasionally have good deals on meat. But when you're paying 2x on basic staples, it's hard to come in otherwise.

I have never been to a deli that sold sandwiches where they refused to make you something. It is on the menu board, and there are plenty of people working here, and they can't make a sandwich. Nice. One star.
