Sendik's Food Market Home Office

I have been a Sendiks shopper for over 40 years. Mostly on Silverspring in WFB. The past 16 years in Elm Grove. What a difference. Not a good one. Your Bakery is awful. None of the specialty items that SS has always offered. the shelves are full of boring rolls and breads. 2 Sciortino breads a day! Thats silly. The Deli salads are sporadic and for 16 years Ive been mentioning how raw the potatoes are in the potato salad. For a high end store your deli is not excellent. Ive been asking for Jenni O Turkey Bone in Breasts for 16 years. You have Jennie O whole Turkeys and other brands of Turkey Breasts. Why cant they do Jennie O instead. There are so many little things that have disappeared off the shelves too. I did stop into main office a few years ago to bring attention to these things. I have been a loyal Sendiks shopper and want to continue to be.Frankly Grasch was a great model you should have followed out here. Ps. I mostly shop at North Ave. now. Im 3 blocks from Elm Grove store. What does that tell you?

Peri in the deli department is awesome! I was one of many people waiting for her to wait on me . She is the best of the best . She packs the cheese, lunch meat perfectly . She communicates well and listens to the needs of her customers. She is one of the reasons that Sendik's on51 and Rawson is my favorite grocery store. I hope I spelled her name right. She is about 5'3", light brown hair. She should be employee of the year! I was in the 51st/Rawson store 11:00 to 12:00 time frame.

During a pandemic this seems to be the only grocery store to not enforce a mask rule. They do not seem to care for their customers or their employees by not following simple rules that other stores seem to not have a problem with. Employees have gotten sick and stores have not closed nor were customers informed of this. The entire company should be ashamed of themselves for caring more about profits than people. Honestly should bring this attention to the news outlets in the city since the company doesn't care about exposure.

I have been a customer for 40 years and sorry to say I recently had to move to Kenosha for family reasons. You can imagine my disappointment to learn my favorite and only grocery store is not located in Kenosha. Too bad for me and other residents I have already talked to because we do not have an upscale grocery store here. Maybe time for your family to come to Kenosha with my family!!!!
