We went to the friends & family event as well as the grand opening & I cant tell you how blown away I was at the transformation! (Since the former establishment). The cleanliness, super friendly staff & overall aesthetic was what impressed me the most!!! We were able to bring the whole family, a child included! I LOVE that! The tap wall was longer than any one Ive seen, something for everyone! The We had so much fun hyper bowling, had some great food & ended the night with custard! Its a one stop spot for alll things Wisco & all things fun! Stop in before & after an event or just a weekday happy hour. You wont regret it!

Won't be back - 18% mandatory gratuity at the bar - really? One of the most widely accepted reasons behind the word tip comes from the phrase To Insure Promptness". Mandatory defeats the premise behind tipping. For the the love of Jesus - raise your prices and pay employees more - stop the nickle and dime practice. Return tipping to the customers discretion! This mandatory practice contunues promote mediocracy in this country. Not everyone is a winner, we need to reward those individuals that put the effort in and go above a behind. Beleive me, I understand the importance of tipping in the service industry sector, (I did my time) just don't make it mandatory! FYI - they don't take cash only credit cards.

My husband and I brought our grandkids to the Grand Opening. We really enjoyed the time. The staff were very friendly and attentive, showing the kids how hyperbowling and curling works. We sat, enjoyed our drinks and cheered them on. There were no servers per se, but after ordering via QR code, our food was delivered quickly to the table. We also saw staff bussing and wiping down tables frequently. I really loved that they had affordable kids meals that included fries and a juice box (around $8). I thought all the prices were very affordable considering our location in the Deer District. There was also an added 18% service charge paid to the whole team. Personally, I had absolutely no problem with this as their were a lot of staff all working very hard (hosting activities, cleaning tables, delivering food, making drinks and answering questions). We normally tip 18-20% anyway, and even tipped a little more than the required service charge. It was worth it! Oh, and the restrooms were very clean, too!! We will definitely be back, especially before and after Fiserv Events!

Absolutely LOVE The New Fashioned! The ambiance is incredibly fun and energetic, creating the perfect atmosphere for a night out. The service is top-notch, with friendly staff ensuring a fantastic experience every time. The drinks are not only delicious but also add to the overall enjoyment. Plus, the unique activities like dartball, curling, and bowling make it stand out from other bars. Located conveniently across from Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, it's the ideal spot for pre and post-event gatherings downtown. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable and exciting night with friends!

Attended grand opening/ Charlie Berens event. It was absolutely amazing! Staff has friendly "Midwest hospitality," food was awesome, and live band HIT! Charlie was great, and so kind! I was very impressed that a new staff and venue handled an event so well at grand opening! Can't wait to go back and try all the self-serve tappers and bowling!
