The Bar at Saint Kate

Very, very busy we waited approximately 25-30 minutes to get waitress to our table. We decided to leave when we discovered the would be possibly another 20-30 minutes. No food no drinks. I have been several times on less busy nights and service as well as food was very tasty.

Excruciatingly slow kitchen. Unclear if there are waiters or you just order at the bar. Went for happy hour and just ordered hummus and poutine. Took about 40mins to get food. Ordered breakfast the next morning and same thing. Dont go if you have somewhere to be.

Came here on a Friday night to get a drink before a play and it was hopping! The tables were packed with people, there was live music, servers hustling, whew. We sat at the bar and had to wait a little while to get an employees attention, but once we did, she made our drinks right away and got them to us quickly. My cocktail had fig and elderflower and honey and lemon and was delicious. We had already eaten, but the pizzas coming out of the kitchen looked good. It was fun to sit there and people watch, and we enjoyed browsing the art as we made our way to the theater in the same complex. It was a cold rainy night, and we appreciated that we could park underground and not have to go outside at all. Parking: We parked in the underground garage, which was a little pricey but very convenient. We had to drive down to the very lowest level, lot was pretty full, but it was a busy Friday night.
