Plankinton Loft Apartments

Enjoyed the first 9 months we lived here but last 3 months were horrible. Location is great BUT tons of homeless hang around the elevators right outside the entrance and in the parking ramp. They will also attempt to get inside the building. I never felt safe at night. My packages were stolen multiple times and one time a homeless lady on drugs dropped her pants and peed right in front of me. I notified management and they did nothing about it, did not clean it or disinfect it. I walked by it for a month and it was never cleaned and then we moved out so I assume it is still there. Disgusting. Needless to say, safety was clearly not a priority here. New management also came in June 2023 and communication was horrible, maintenance sucked, and they increased the monthly rate and only gave us 3 days to decide if we were going to extend our lease. We went the last 2 months without a dishwasher. Also asked management due to the price increase if we would get access to the dog spa, pickleball courts and gym and they said no. 2 months later they were posted as amenities on the website. Frustrating. Due to new management in Summer 2023, I would not recommend anyone to live here.

Henry and I made this our base of operations during a recent long weekend in Milwaukee. OUTSTANDING accommodations. Fair price, OUTSTANDING service (thanks, Jimmy!) and a great location.
