If you're considering a place to give your time, talents, donations, efforts, etc. - look no further! There are ways for all walks and means to contribute support to the House and thereby lift our neighbors during their times of medical need. This past Fall, we coordinated an In-House work-day for our Crew to volunteer and give back at RMHC-Marshfield. With the guidance of the RMHC staff and their perpetually-updated Wish List, we coordinated a supplies drive to help restock the House's pantry. We also collected pop tabs at our homes and offices, then donated them to RMHC. While on-site, our Crew was able to assist with a variety of housekeeping tasks, seasonal yardwork needs, and organizing the pantry. We also made a variety of meals that were able to be served for dinners now and frozen for later. Our finishing touch was the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies we made, adding a familiar aroma of home to the already homey atmosphere. The RMHC-Marshfield staff run an impeccable Home and know each guest by name. They are truly building community welcoming families with open arms. Enough cannot be said for the good they pour into our community. Through their careful attention to needs, the House staff also help build connections between fellow guests and other outside community members.
