    As a visitor only to a 0urrebt resident, I fond the units to be well put together, cozy, clean and ample parking for visitors. I would rent from them !

    Rented an apartment at Chestnut Grove Apartments, which was leased through Success Realty. Erica was our landlord. Of course, when we were looking at the place she was nothing but friendly and helpful. As soon as we were moved in, complete 180. We informed her of damage on the doors in the apartment that were supposed to be fixed before we moved in none of which ever were replaced, a wall unit air conditioner was installed before we moved in and it continually was sliding out of the wall, the bar in the closet was broken and when we asked if we could replace it ourselves we were told no. They never fixed that either. People were constantly parked in our assigned parking place. We found dried blood in the apartment on the doors that were damaged, and when we told the landlord about it and how we didn't feel safe, she lied to us about the prior tenants and refused to do anything about it. My key to the front door would stick really bad, to the point of me not being able to get in sometimes, and I was told that it was a new lock but the sticking would wear off. It never did. I was locked out for half an hour once, still she didn't fix it. The sliding glass door that led to the patio right by the door to the apartment building wouldn't lock at all, it took three days for them to get someone to fix it. And when they did, I was told the lock was replaced but that it still didn't lock so I should check it occasionally to make sure it was locked. The stove top would randomly turn itself on even when all the knobs were in the off position. One day it wouldn't turn back off no matter what I did and it started making a hissing noise. I called Success immediately, they sent a guy to look at it. He turned off the breaker for it, sent a "specialist" to look at it, specialist didn't even realize the breaker to it was off and assumed it fixed itself before I told him what the other guy did. Then he looked it over and told me to just turn off the breaker when we weren't using it and turn it on when we were. That's how they fixed it. When we went to tell Erica that we would not be renewing our lease, she ignored us. So we emailed her, she ignored that as well. So we went again in person to tell her, and she told us that we were required to give her thirty days notice, which we were giving, and she just kept repeating that, to which we said that's what we're doing right now. When we moved out, we thoroughly cleaned the place, got the floors professionally done like we were required to do, replaced a few things out of our own pocket to guarantee we would get our security deposit back. Did the walk through with her, and was promised we get our deposit back within a week and a half. Two weeks went by, I called and was told she legally had 21 days to give it back and she was waiting for confirmation about us paying our utilities. We told her we had transferred the utilities to our new place and were billed accordingly, but she was very rude and insisted that we wouldn't get our deposit until she verified that we paid our utilities and she had 21 days to do so. It is now day 24 and I still don't have the deposit even though we did everything we were supposed to do. We are moving to a new house and will not have access to this mailing address after this week. I was told we will get it tomorrow, but I've heard that before so we'll see. I would highly discourage anyone from working with Success Realty, most specifically Erica. It was an absolute nightmare. Chestnut Grove Apartments are awful.
