Fun little stop on the side of the Hwy. Has a small cafe, gift shop and some activities that are great for people that are traveling with children. Very mom and pop operated, so some confusion with employees knowing how to prioritize or where they should be focusing. (Hard to get attention at the Cafe, and shaky communication on how/ where to pay for things etc. People are very kind though. Worth getting out and stretching your legs.

BIG THINGS HAPPENING DOWN ON THE FARM If you want to learn about farming, food cultivation, animal husbandry and everything in between, then this is the place to come. If youre lucky, you could even watch a calf being born in the birthing barn. Its definitely worth the price of admission. From Field to Fork to Common Ground and The Cutting Edge, theres so much to see and do here, so come prepared to spend several hours expanding your knowledge of this most important industry, without which we would starve! Im so grateful to farmers who work 24/7 in all weathers to provide our staples.

We stopped here on our way home today because of all the cafe signs along the freeway and figured it was worth a look. The good: -Very kind staff -Clean -Some interesting exhibits (Kinetic sand, topography map!) -Great gift shop The not as good: -Expensive for the amount to do in the center, and if you are only there for a short time/miss the farm tour. (However, I didn't mind because it goes to a good cause, but I did see a lot of folks leave because of it.) -No changing tables in bathrooms, at least up in the exhibit area, which is disappointing for a new facility geared at families. -The separate, cafe hours were not posted anywhere obvious when we came in (not on entry doors), so we missed our opportunity for actual food by an hour and had to go elsewhere. Had we known they don't serve until 5:00, we would have done the center second. Make sure to check the website, not the doors! Obviously, it is still very new, so hopefully some little changes will be made! We will be back.

Thank you for the kind words, Linda! We're grateful for farmers, too, and the opportunity to share their stories with every guest who walks through our doors.
