I brought very important issues to them regarding my ex-husband and what he did and it was handled and the least amount of care possible. It is really upsetting to know that they didn't even put an effort to get to the bottom of anything. And it was an abusive situation and instead of investigating more all they did was makeup report and they didn't do anything else. If you want to protect your child from a situation or a child in general from a situation that is dangerous or abusive don't call CPS do it yourself. Anybody can write a report and sign it.

I called to get information about a family situation. The lady I spoke with was very helpful, kind, understanding, and empathetic. There wasnt much she was able to do however. Despite it being 2024, there seems to be no updated laws for emotional, religious, or mental abuse

I have contacted this specific department multiple times regarding my niece. She is now in far worse danger than before. They have still done nothing even though there was more than enough evidence to support what we had proclaimed was occurring today I was guided to make a written report, considering all phone call reports have not been handled correctly, the representative I spoke with refused to give me the information I needed in order to pursue making a written report, because they did not want the backlash of the report being confidential or something of that nature. Of which I responded with and stated multiple times that was not a concern of my own and I did want the information in regards to making a written report. I was denied throughout the entire phone call and I am currently awaiting a return call of which I know they wont do. In order to see what avenues they should pursue. I called 3 times after to try and get the information from a different agent, all 3 calls were ignored. I am currently consulting with lawyers to see about next options as they have failed not only my niece but my entire family thats tried so hard to help prevent these dire and extreme circumstances. Considering this has been an ongoing issue for almost 3 years now I highly recommend going to a higher service than the state level CPS department in Wisconsin ESPECIALLY if you are a person of color.
