Orthodontic Specialists of Madison

My visit with Sarah McDermott went so poorly it was almost comical. I  will not be going back and will find another provider (an orthodontist  who actually knows something about teeth!) for my children.  Here are the details: She was very unprofessional.  She was distracted  by, and complained more than once, about the remodeling that was  happening in the clinic rooms, overly distraught (not just a little  annoyed, but a this-has-completely-ruined-my-day attitude) that things  weren't where she expected them to be. When asked basic questions she  displayed a remarkable lack of interest, concern, or even knowledge about  common tools in her profession (like retainers, for example). She did  not seem to understand how top and bottom teeth are supposed to  comfortably line up. I'm glad to have learned this about her early in my  kids' treatment, when it's still very easy to switch providers. Not  sure how this place made the Best of Madison list!

Do your research before going, I wish I never went here. Wasted years of time here, would never recommend.

Dr. Peterson and his very capable staff have provided excellent treatment for each of our sons. Highly recommended.

Failed to let me know that my daughter was approved for braces a year later we had to start to process all over again. They also failed to let their clients know what the new procedures were for covid 19. Lack of communication with their patients.
