We are happy with the cataract surgery my dad had. The problem is the hospital that charged us double for anesthesia, because one anesthesiologist was administering the anesthesia and the other anesthesiologist was watching. For only one eye! And in the process of trying to figure out this issue, they sent the bill to collections- Obviously, because the billing specialist department do not answer, bounce you around because nobody knows how to resolve any issues and unable to take payments or set up a payment plan or to set up autopay because, "That is not my job, I will transfer you to another representative".

--the glasses are okay....the service to the glasses, subpar-- I have progressive lenses and after a month I was noticing that I was working(behind a computer) with my head tilted back to see better. Something I didn't have to do with old glasses. Brought them in, they adjusted them, results were minimal. Now, 7~8 months later, one lens has a noticeable scratch on it. I called, they said 'yes, you have a one year warranty, but you already brought them in once for adjustment and our warranty is only for one fix.' ARE YOU KIDDING ME! THIS IS NOT THE DEFINITION OF A WARRANTY!!! UPDATE....changing my one star review to three...they did contact me and fix my issue--not giving a five star review because the situation happened, and I had to complain to get it fixed...

My son was scheduled to go in to this hospital for surgery, we arrive there and check in the check in person was very nice to me and told me everything I needed to know. We went into a small room to meet with the nurse on call the dentist and anesthesiologist, the nurse was very helpful and nice and the dentist was very helpful and nice and reassured me that everything would be okay my son had to go under general anesthesia I had no knowledge that they do these types of things with special needs children ? Idk I felt it was very very harsh on a child and my son has been traumatized and has endured a lot of pain but we got the surgery done on the other hand the anesthesiologist seemed very cold and like he was in a different place he didnt really seem to care or have a positive attitude when I mentioned the tube going down my sons throat I asked wouldnt that be a little harsh and why wasnt I mentioned all of this in the beginning he then goes on to say he has no control over what other facilities tell me and that hes just doing his job okay rude much? He didnt reassure me that everything would be ok he had the attitude of lets get this over with and DONE! I didnt like his attitude I felt that he couldve showed a little bit of compassion then when the surgery was done the anesthesiologist tried to accuse me of lying because prior to surgery he asked if my son had a cold or cough in the last few weeks I told him no not to my knowledge he told me that my son had trouble breathing and that he may have in fact had a cold and thats why he asked that question but I gave him an honest answer. If youre going to hire a anesthesiologist please make sure they have compassion overall my experience was ok just traumatic to see my son in pain.

Really horrible experience with the tech that seen this before the doctor did. Was told that I'm a bad mother because we were late because we got stuck behind a train and that's why things were taking longer and that I wasn't putting my child's health care first. Very disappointed on how this lady just kept talking disrespectfully to me when I was trying to tell her that my son had an allergy to adhesives and she still proceeded to put something over my son's eye with adhesive on it and just keep being rude and talking back to me I will never be coming here again made my son feel very uncomfortable as well. She was also talking disrespectfully to me in front of my son and then she's like well I'm going to note that she refusing certain services that were offering and then she's like you need to be a better mother and do what's best for him. The doctor wasn't any kinder either. Never coming back here.

Terrible experiences with the opthamologists there--diagnosing errors and delays, repeating same useless treatments, and SSM will rip you off financially every chance they get. Will never return.
