Our garage door went out and we needed someone to come and fix it ASAP. We (unfortunately..) had another company come and the amount that this company was A LOT of money. They also tried to talk us into spending almost $2,000 to fix other parts (that I learned were not even necessary..) A very dear friend of mine recommended that I call Overhead Door Company. I immediately called Overhead and spoke with a wonderful gentleman named John. John immediately guessed which company we hired, and confirmed that the amount the other company charged was indeed very steep. John provided me the amount that THEY charge (which is very reasonable). John also actually brought up how the company will also try to have us pay to have other things fixed (which the company did indeed try to do). John then assured me that we just need to have the springs fixed, and that we don't need anything else to be fixed. We already signed the paperwork for the other company to work on the garage door (unfortunately) but I was able to successfully have this company lower their price a bit (they charged us 1/2 price on one of the springs). I also told them that we did not want them to service anything else, which saved us a lot of money. I was VERY impressed with John, and am grateful that he went out of his way to help me/us out! I have officially added Overhead to my phone and will definitely be giving them a call the next time we need help with our garage door! - Amy

Unfortunately, can't give less than one star. Strongly encourage you to choose someone else for your garage door repair needs. Got oil and lubricant EVERYWHERE. On the walls, the garage, and well out into the driveway. Now we have oil stains everywhere. When I called I was transferred to the office manager Jim. He was thoroughly unpleasant and flat out said they will not do anything about it. I emailed him pictures at his request and I've heard nothing. Do yourself a favor and choose someone else.

I called Overhead Door on Monday as the spring on my door broke and was inoperable. I was told the soonest a technician could come was Wednesday afternoon, with a hold time of 12:00 -4:00. The technician would call 15 minutes before arrival. I had plans for the day so asked to narrow the window to 1:00-4:00. The phone person rather reluctantly agreed. I rushed to be home by 1:00. It was after 3:00 and still no one called. I called the company and was told that someone will call. After another half hour I called again, & was transferred to someone's voice mail. I called back again & finally the person answering the phone checked & told me he had no record of service for me. The whole experience left me angry & frustrated starting with the guy answering the phone. He blew me off twice before finally checking to see where I was (wasn't) on the list. After hanging up, I called Precision Garage Door repair and, even at the late hour, they sent a technician. Within 2 hours after my call to Precision, my garage door was repaired by a professional, pleasant, & skilled technician.
