Lots of issues with billing with this vision clinic! Ive been dealing with an issue with a bill for almost 2 years now (it was supposed to be an annual eye exam but was labeled as something different). The bill was sent to my regular health insurance instead of my vision insurance that was listed on my account. And apparently they even had a number from my insurance card incorrect as well as the incorrect name of my vision insurance, which they think couldve been causing issues. I also called this clinic and they didnt even have the phone number for the billing line. They said its a different one than the SSM billing phone number, yet I called the SSM billing phone number and they were able to help me out anyways! Ive spent countless hours on the phone trying to figure out why I was billed for an annual eye exam that shouldve been completely covered by my insurance.

Janet has been my go-to person at various Dean retail optical locations for years. She is skilled, warm and very helpful. In addition, she gets it right; and if the fit isnt up to her high standards, she works on it until you AND she are satisfied. I highly recommend her.

We are happy with the cataract surgery my dad had. The problem is the hospital that charged us double for anesthesia, because one anesthesiologist was administering the anesthesia and the other anesthesiologist was watching. For only one eye! And in the process of trying to figure out this issue, they sent the bill to collections- Obviously, because the billing specialist department do not answer, bounce you around because nobody knows how to resolve any issues and unable to take payments or set up a payment plan or to set up autopay because, "That is not my job, I will transfer you to another representative".

--the glasses are okay....the service to the glasses, subpar-- I have progressive lenses and after a month I was noticing that I was working(behind a computer) with my head tilted back to see better. Something I didn't have to do with old glasses. Brought them in, they adjusted them, results were minimal. Now, 7~8 months later, one lens has a noticeable scratch on it. I called, they said 'yes, you have a one year warranty, but you already brought them in once for adjustment and our warranty is only for one fix.' ARE YOU KIDDING ME! THIS IS NOT THE DEFINITION OF A WARRANTY!!! UPDATE....changing my one star review to three...they did contact me and fix my issue--not giving a five star review because the situation happened, and I had to complain to get it fixed...
