Revel

I went here with my bridesmaids for a bachelorette party. Such a fun environment to do some crafts on beautiful white tables! Their system is pretty cute, too! For the craft bar, you choose one of the crafts from their catalog, and then they bring you a tray with your supplies! Most of our group did string art of the Wisconsin map, tracing the outline of a Wisconsin printout with nails and a hammer, and then wrapping string around the nails back and forth to create something really pretty cute! I'm thinking of using mine as wedding decor, since my fiance and I met in Madison! They also have a fun cocktail/drinks menu that adds to the great environment. My only reason for 4, not 5 stars, is small details like the quality of the paint was really liquid-y, so my bridesmaid had a tough time creating opaque color on her pencil-holder she chose for her craft. The other thing is, the scissors are good, but not very ergonomical at all, haha. After a few seconds of use, the scissors really hurt your hand! Silly detail, but I look forward to Revel becoming more and more established and having (even) higher quality supplies! Overall, I highly recommend coming to Revel with a group of close friends/even a large group of 20! It helped my bridesmaids bond when they didn't all know each other beforehand. :)

I bought a kit at Timber Hill winery. The instructions are easy and all materials needed were included. However I was really disappointed that the colors indicated on the box were not the colors in the kit. The cover indicated it would include teal and dark blue macrame fibers which I thought would be perfect for my space but instead it contained teal and white.
