The management there is terrible. They only care about numbers, and money. They treat their employees poorly and unfairly. Managers spread rumors and lies to make themselves look good. They also play favorites with certain employees. The only reason they even worry about safety on the job is so they don't get fined by OSHA. They have too many managers and not enough workers. Upper management does nothing but talk about fixing problems and not enough time doing anything. If they trimmed some of the overpaid useless management team, they could hire a lot more workers. The owners are either clueless, or they just don't care.

Seems since Revere took over B.J. electric..things have gone down hill. I ordered 6 undercabinet lights recently. The colors didn't match on the 3000k settings. Three had 3 position switches and the other 3 had 5 color choice switches. Was told I would get 3 new ones. One came correct..the other 2 weren't even close to the correct fixture. Now I'm told it'll be another 2 weeks. If you can't get the correct product..be upfront from the start. It's to the point anything out of the ordinary like panels breakers and wire...I'll order off the Internet from now on.Its strange that an electrical supply company can constantly be out of product but I can get the same thing at Menards. I'm totally fed up with with this company

Stopped in today in search of a few square D circuit breakers. Special order type items, and apparently this year they've become an item that's not readily available from the vendors of essentially any outlet I've been to. Because this place however wasn't a Square D seller, it was a simple issue of relaying that bit of info and I was off to the next in my cross town travels. Because I'd just been to 3 of the nearest suppliers I was sitting in my vehicle looking for who I should visit or call next. The same guy I spoke to inside came out for a smoke and saw me. Asked again what I was searching for. I relayed the summary of my two previous stops. Including one place (I'll be writing that story in the review for Hill Electric Supply following this one) I'd just left. So this guy informs me that while BJs isn't a dealer for such and such, sometimes other products return from large scale jobs and are sold, but not in the regular spread sheets or whatever. This man, Randy, made a call to a sister store and asked if the items I needed were perhaps available, just not in the main inventory lists. Sure enough. He locates them. Gets confirmation that they can be delivered on the next truck from Racine. And the price is quite similar to the one place I did order them from yesterday, but because the order wasn't placed immediately when I put my card on the order to assure my commitment. Yesterday I'd made the order. I was assured they'd be avail today by 8am. At noon when I returned they were not available. This is why I'm writing a review for BJ's Electric Supply today. Going above and beyond. This may very well become the first place I'll be making my electric supply purchases when Home Depot can't be the standby. Great service.
