Small town feel in a Madison are dental office. I can't express enough how much you and your family will appreciate Dr. Piper and her great staff!!! I've been seeing Dr. Piper for a very long time.  What is prompting this review was my visit to another dental provider.  I was referred to another dentist by my health insurance for TMJ, and quickly realized how lucky I am to have Dr. Piper as my dentist!  The other dentist I was referred to is part of a very large dental practice in the Madison area; the dentist was okay (appeared to be in a big hurry, didn't seem too interested in my issues or me), dental assistant was fine (just not what I"m use to),  The overall atmosphere was something I would never go back to.  This clinic more like a well oiled machine out to make money (I fully understand and appreciate dentists need to make money) but maybe if they didn't have display case with items the sell (very off putting). Just not happy because I really did feel totally rushed and also just a number and dollar sign. I will not change dentists until Dr. Piper retires :)

Dear Dental Patient:I became Dr. Phil Bruden's dental patient soon after I moved to Madison in the early 1970's.  I adored Dr. Bruden and when he retired, I knew that he would not have sold his practice to Dr. Jean Piper if she weren't a wonderful person and a fine dentist.  I can't remember how many years ago that occurred - maybe 25 years - but I remain a devoted patient of Dr. Jean, as do my family members.  Dr. Jean and Rhonda, her hygienist, have set the tone for the office - grace, calm and friendliness.  When I think back to how traumatic visits to the dentist were when I was growing up, I remark on the wonderful change that has occurred, not only in the technology, but also in the philosophy that dental care is essential to good health, and that dental care should not be scary.  Well done, Dr. Jean!!!
