I'm a firefighter, which means I'm used to having people calling for help. It also means that when I need help, it leaves me unsure of what to do. While on duty, I had a tooth start hurting and my face swelled, right up to my left eye. I thought the odds of being able to get in that day would be low but I went straight there after getting off duty and they managed to get me right in, diagnosed the problem and had it fixed by 1:30 that afternoon. I have been going to Dr. Jana since 2011 and to be honest, her and her staff are the only medical professionals I can say I trust absolutely. They are the only ones that have never let me down. The practice does not feel like the cold, clinical dentist offices I suffered through growing up. Dr. Jana and her staff are genuinely caring and helpful and if they ever move, I'll drive wherever they go, they are just the best there is.

Unfortunately this place is not what it used to be! I had gone to this office for many years however, their more worried about Recommending dental services that are not needed, getting as much money out of you as possible! Not to mention the accounting lady was off on several estimates, and definitely seem a little shady, and when questioned she was quick to be very defensive! At one point I had new insurance for my son and I so I called to make sure that services would be covered, I was assured they would be! To my surprise weeks later I get a bill in the mail for Several hundred dollars saying my services were not covered! Again this is after I spoken to their accounting lady directly to confirm. Last but not least....this one should speak volumes to anybody reading this review, any company that tries to literally begged you to leave a positive review you definitely need to look at with a microscope and this was exactly the case and thats exactly why that was the last time I will be there and I will never come back! I tell everybody that asks me about this place to just stay away! You can book services there at your own risk but be wary! definitely would not recommend!

I wanted a new Midwest area dentist. I knew to look for an LVI trained dentist but there aren't that many in this part of the country. The one in Monroe isn't accepting new patients so I found Dr. Gyurina. The office is nice and easily accessible. The dental hygienist I had was thorough but gentle. One of the best I've ever had. My big disappointment was with the dental plan Dr. Gyurina proposed. It was expensive with dental work / plans I truly didn't need. I know this because I have an LVI trained dentist in the Southwest. A friend experienced the same thing...he was given an expensive dental plan too for procedures he did not need. I decided not to return to this office.

I visited Dr. Jana's office last month and I was very impressed with the facility and the people. The office is gorgeous, clean and modern. The staff is so nice and professional. They are non judgmental and explain everything to you and don't make you feel bad about your teeth. Finally, Dr. Jana is amazing. She is sweet and caring and is extremely competent. I loved my experience and will definitely make Oak Park my home.
