Heartland Credit Union

Not a smooth transition from DCCU to heartland. They do not handle cash anymore. No dividends on any checking accounts anymore. The list goes on and on.

I would never recommend this place. After they bought out Dane County Credit Union it's been a nightmare. Sold out our mortgage to Midwest Loan Services, which is now trying out a new website and I get to be the guinea pig without any notice. I have multiple log-ins that I had to create and hope its not a scam, sending my mortgage payment to one address and now a different address and having to check my account daily making sure it made it on time. Very stressful to say the least.

19!! 19 times I called today and not one person picked up. It has also been close to two weeks since I've left several messages for any losn officer to contact me about my hcu credit card application. It is becoming painfully clear that hcu is not a customer oriented credit union. I no longer accept the excuse that is because of the merger. Enough time has come and gone where hcu should have staffing issues under control The merger was not a surprise move. All parties knew about it, members and staff. Truly atrocious service

They do not follow through with correcting THEIR errors with the transition from Dane County CU to Heartland CU. They caused me over $5,700 in lost credit and now bad credit marks on my excellent credit and payment history. I have been waiting for a resolution for over TWO WEEKS! No one has had the decency to call me back like I was informed would happen to make this right with my creditors. I had payments scheduled within the timeframe that they clearly stated over and over in their mailings and through their website. They rejected three of them which accrued late fees and a decrease in my credit line. Now higher interest rates and a hit on my credit. They do not care; it did not affect them! Their customer service stinks also. They are rude and inconsiderate. NOTHING like Dane County CU!
