Wonderstate Coffee - Madison Cafe

Its a good idea and a great location but the execution is poor. It took 27 minutes for a bacon egg bagel and a piece of avocado toast. They forgot the scone entirely. They were busy but not packed. An apology isnt necessary but simple acknowledgement or communication would have been much appreciated. Unfortunately, it never came.

The lavender latte I got was okay (liked the vanilla bean more though) and was not too expensive ($5.01 for an 8oz), but what I love most about Wonderstate is the beautiful view of the Capitol and the ambiance (plenty of seating and tons of natural light).

The food is good and the atmosphere is great. If you tip though, it could easily be $25 for one person for breakfast at a place that doesn't have any table service.

Lots of natural light and also some natural roasted coffee. Big space that allows social distancing while enjoying coffee and conversation. The restrooms were open which is a big thing in 2021
