The company came at a time when I wanted to explore consulting in 2019. I was met by a scrappy team who spoke candidly about how vChief could help me launch a consulting firm without having to do any marketing or promotions to land clients but wouldn't be able to guarantee placements given they don't do mandatory placements. I joined and was placed with clients that were thoughtful and impact-oriented who eventually became friends, which seems rare. Joining the talent pool also offered me a flexible schedule and a feeling of control over my professional well-being, which was a new experience for me at that time. Much of the matching process really depends on the client opportunities and how that aligns with your own experiences, interests, and availability. Since there are no mandatory placements, it means choice for both the client and the consultant but that can also mean a consultant might not be placed immediately. I joined the central team more than a year ago, and the company has continued to offer the flexibility, opportunity, and community that I experienced as a consultant.
