One of the best meals I have had in a while. I have eaten Michelin Star restaurants before and Sardine was every bite as good if not better. The flounder was delicious, seasoned and crisped to perfection, but what caught me off guard was the overwintered spinach in Meyer lemon brown butter. I had no idea such a flavor exhisted! Of course I had to try dessert after that and the Meringue with Myer Lemon Curd is my new favorite dessert, just wow, truly knocked my socks off! And to think I almost left because I was in the mood for scallops. How many times have you been in the mood for something that wasn't available and whatever you settled for didn't hit the spot!? Could not have been happier with my meal, thank you Justin for a great recommendation and a great experience! Oh, and the classic Old Fashioned was wonderful as well:)

I had such a wonderful first experience at Sardine for brunch over the weekend. To start the meal, I had a lovely pastry that seemed like a combination of a croissant and cinnamon roll. It was perfectly flaky and tasted amazing with my Miel coffee (not pictured). For my entre, I got the Baked Creamy Eggs which was probably the most flavor I've gotten out of a breakfast. The caramelized cheese and rich pieces of prosciutto on top of baguette slices was divine. Hoping to be in the Madison area again soon and will definitely be back!

What a terribly overpriced and very mediocre to poor restaurant. Food was dreadful and some of it tasted spoiled. The service was nonexistent and worse than slow. Expensive and not worth the money or the time. Dreadful.
