I have been going to Monarch Salon for years. From the receptionists to all the stylists, they're kind, fun & professional. My stylist Jada has the gift of being an amazing hair stylist. From cuts to color & highlights. She listens to what I want her to do. Then does it When I first started with Jada, my hair was damaged & dull. Thanks to her, my hair is the healthiest its ever been. Monarch offers wonderful & affordable products to keep my hair healthy & have a beautiful shine. They're stuck with me.

I was booked for a lash lift and tint, but had a conflict arise that I could not reschedule. I called 1 hour and 15 minutes before the appointment and asked to reschedule for another time. The cancelation policy is 1 hour before the appointment start time (as I was told was their policy by the person on the other end of the line). When I said it was outside of the 1 hour window, they just told me, "well, yeah, we're still gonna have to charge you the full cost, because it's close to the window". What's the point of telling me I had an hour before the appointment to cancel if you aren't going to follow the policy you informed me of and proceed to charge me just because you feel like it? As I looked on their booking site, it says that within 24 hours, a cancelation or reschedule should be a 50% charge, and a no show is a 100% charge. I gave notice and had the intent to reschedule. I'd've understandably paid the cancellation fee and rescheduled had they followed their own policies, as I was not a no show. I understand the artists need to be compensated for their time, but sometimes life happens, and I did the best I could. They did not. I was disappointed to say the least, as this place had good reviews, but I most certainly will not be giving this place another try if this is how they try to conduct their business and take people's money dishonestly.
