Vintage Brewing Co. Madison

The food was great the beers were good but the service was little slow. My wife ordered a beer and the waiter never brought it,when asked he said they were tapping a new keg, we again order a 2nd round of beers and they came right out.

Its been LONG overdue that I leave a positive review here. 4.4 stars on Google does NOT scratch the surface on Vintage Brewing Co, but more specifically the Whitney Way location. My girlfriend and I are recently retired service professionals of over 20 years and have been coming here for at least 10 of those years. Between the beer, food (great new chef), and hospitality, I cant think of a better Cheers like bar in Madison. All the praise goes to the staff: Pete, Tommy, Lauren, Perry, Mac, etc. I apologize Im probably listing only bartenders. As a former bartender and restaurant manager of 15 years I can say that this place feels like my home away from home and I want management/ownership to know that these employees are your GREATEST assets! Yes, the beer and the food are award winning, but the friendly banter is why we come in at least 3 times a week. Vintage is a Madison staple and I hope flourishes for years to come.

Honestly, I went here on Father's day and I was not impressed. Food was terrible, menu offerings were extremely limited, and the beer was ok. The GM compted my meal and gave me drink tokens but, truthfully they will go unused. Lots of great brewery options in Wisconsin, and I don't feel like this is one of them. Subpar at best
