The Quarry Apartments & Shoppes

We lived at the quarry for ~3 year. This apartment complex is amazing! Wish we didnt need to move! We needed few repairs but Les from maintenance was always quick to respond. (He was also so nice to our dog and even gave us a bag of treats for him!) The building manager Josh is great as well and helped with all apartment/leasing questions! Location is great, next to fun parks and close to downtown. Highly recommend living at The Quarry apartments!

Loved living here! My favorite parts were the gym, rooftop terrace, large patio space, grill on the terrace, super nice community room, and reasonable underground parking prices. Management was super great too. Highly recommend this property or any others with the same management.

I have moved in Quarry apartments in July 2021 from New Jersey. I have a studio apartment which is pretty spacious and has a nice balcony. Facilities are new with in unit washer/dryer. The building is also pretty new, with a very nice design, gym and always CLEAN. There is a nice lounge, balcony and a grill on the roof. Management is super nice, efficient and respond immediately. Josh, the property manager, is very pleasant and super responsive. He is always available, and on your move in day you get a welcome basket. The location is a very convenient especially for those who don't have a car. If you work at UW or VA it is only 10 minute walk. It is also within walking distance 10-20 min) from major grocery stores like whole foods, metcalfes, pick and save, hilldale shopping center. There is a great walking / biking path to the memorial terrace.

I am coming up on one year of living at the Quarry, and I love it! The apartments are so cozy and high quality. I live in one of the townhouses, and it's the perfect size for me and my two roommates. We get a lot of natural light which is really nice, and I love having our own washer and dryer. It's been a great place to have friends over for dinners and get togethers. We have rented out the rooftop patio a few times for larger gatherings and it's so pretty with a great view. It's also nice having a gym in the apartment building, and Novanta right there. I especially like the owners of the Quarry - they respond to our requests in a timely manner and hosts so many get togethers where they'll provide food and fun! Josh, our manager, has been especially great! He's always super easy to reach :) We will be living here until we graduate!

Great location close to Hilldale and downtown. Great food and drink choices right in the building too! The apartments are really nicely done, with nice appliances and finishes. Love the community room with rooftop deck and grill, and fitness room with everything you could need. Management is great - super friendly and responsive.
