Eleven Gables Inn and Cottage

You certainly can't beat the price or location, but docking a star because the beds/pillows could definitely use an upgrade.

The owner is very friendly and the property is pet friendly. That is a great plus for dog owners. The rooms are in need of updates and refreshing.

Gary was awesome. I was late checking in my bad…but he wasn’t bothered. I couldn’t figure out how to use my room key and he helped me out. Very cool vibe historical place. Dog friendly close to downtown. I liked the peace and private pier. Felt like home. I really enjoyed my stay. Wish I could have stayed longer. Nice place, walked to the beach. Clean and appreciate it. He wasn’t mad that we asked a million questions loved our stay!! Would definitely return.

We chose Eleven Gables Inn for a 30th birthday celebration at Lake Geneva last weekend. It was a perfect choice for our group of family and friends and two pups. The Inn includes several rooms in the main building plus two multi-room suites in a separate building behind the main house. The structures are old and well-kept and charming. Gary showed us around and made sure we had everything we needed and then he left us alone with instructions to call if we needed anything. The rooms had all the necessities and were clean and comfortably appointed. The bed in the courtyard room was very comfy and others in the Cottage and Ice House loved the unique and historical charm of the surroundings. Note that this is an older building in a lovely wooded, corner lot near the lake. There will be an occasional bug that makes it way in. Perfect location a couple blocks from downtown and just enough away from the busier areas but close to everything. If you need multiple outlets, USB ports, fancy coffee makers and ice machines, etc, this may not be the best choice. But if you want a quiet, charming inn with wonderful history with a beautiful private pier for sunsets and space to spread out with a group, I highly recommend you speak to Gary and make plans. We there 2 of us or 12, will definitely stay there again when we visit Lake Geneva.

The 11 Gables Inn is absolutely beautiful! It has amazing, detailed interiors and is the perfect romantic getaway! It's in a perfect location, within walking distance of shops and restaurants. It has A/C, which is a must during the summer months. Also not sure how the owner does it, the towels smell so fresh and clean! They're so soft too.
