A bit late on the post but I stopped by a week ago. From out of town, training out of McCoy. The food was great. Drinks were amazing. Staff and the owner are super kind. Recommend this place for sure!

Service was absolutely awful. The food was mediocre. I would highly recommend going anywhere else.

This place felt more like it wanted to look good than actually BE good. The salsa was thin and much too sweet, they were out of soda AND the house-made hot sauce, the food itself - while not BAD - was very bland and served with mixed greens instead of lettuce, with the pico and crema elegantly drizzled and sprinkled over the top of the roughage. It looked good, but there wasnt enough of either to actually enjoy with my food. The service was absolutely terrible. It wasnt very busy for a middle of the week evening around 6pm, but in the hour we were there I think our server checked on us only twice. A lady ended up leaving while waiting to be seated, and another group ended up just seating themselves. The staff didnt seem to have any sense of urgency either - meandering around the bar while people waited. Ultimately, between the mediocre food, the bad service, and the high prices they charge, there are many restaurants within walking distance I would recommend over Mezcal
