        I have bought many appliances from Midwest over the years. I bought a new Maytag washer and dryer five years ago. After 3 years, the rubber seal (boot) came off a was replaced for $311.00. Came off again a week ago. Salesman told me Maytag was bought by Whirlpool 10 years ago and there have been many problems since then, (never told this at time of sale). Told that replacement would be at least $500.00. When I said that was outrageous the salesman was apologetic and wanted to know if I wanted to buy a new washing machine. After buying a new machine 5 years ago! The office person Patty was unfriendly, unsympathetic and dismissive. Not even a free service charge, nothing. Will never do business with them again.
