I have been a renter with Bear for almost 4 years. I feel on some difficult times and had to request Federal Covid-19 Rental Assistance, which the staff seemed severely inconvenienced, and continue the eviction process even after I secured funding but was waiting for the check to arrive. And then when it came time to renew my lease I received a letter stating that I had requested to end the lease. When I contacted the staff and said there must be some mistake was told oh sorry it was our mistake we decided not to renew your lease. That's it, six-weeks notice with no explanation. I am just now getting back on my feet, and will have to find housing, and I do not have a security deposit saved. I asked for a 2-3 month, month-to-month extension, which was immediately turned down. Also, when I moved into my apartment at Sheridan Mews, it was completely disgusting, with a greece coating on the countertops the blinds were dusty and dripping with grease. I will never recommend Bear properties do any of my friends or family. Bear is a process over people management company, with heartless staff.
