Cardinali's Bakery

BEST BREAD IN THE WORLD!! My aunt Lena Cardinali and her husband ran this Bakery around the 1920s. My dad worked here in the 40's before shipping out in the Navy in World War II. I and my brother worked there in the early eighties for a while after my dad's Bakery in Racine closed, which I worked in from age 9 - 17. Thank you for keeping it running. I know how hard the work is.

Stopped in to get Bomber buns and a round loaf of Italian bread. Their breads are the best, the nice young lady behind the counter was super helpful. I never knew that they had fresh raw pizza dough in the cooler, next time I visit I'm picking some up and will make a couple of pizzas at home.

Though I was born and raised in Kenosha, I have lived in San Francisco for 30 years. I'm here to say that Cardinali's has the best doughnuts in the world. The cyclops are unparalleled.
