Have been going here for family vacation for many years. Scott and Kay (owners) are always so gracious and helpful. Lodging is old but clean and quaint. Kayaks, canoes, paddleboats, and paddleboards are provided for guests free of charge. And the lake is quiet enough to use them without worrying about getting hit by a boat. Overall, great resort!

Family has been coming here for 20 plus years .....place needs a major update period they have been ok hosts for all of those years until this one their failure to maintain trees got my aunt cars got crushed by a tree and they thought it was funny "drive it home like that" " should have parked in a different spot" from the hosts yes from the hosts on top said their insurance DOES NOT COVER THIER TREES.... 2nd the 30 year old boats broke down EVERY day which was $850 absolutely pointless.... no air conditioning endless amounts of bugs inside the cabins before check-in.... and got mad about our entire family up late hanging around the fire having our VACATION drinking and hanging out ..doing absolutely nothing wrong did not leave ANY GARBAGE out even recycling everything that was able to not be garbage....needless to say we WON'T BE COMING BACK EVER!!!! after spending almost $6,500 Just THIS WEEK!!! do the math over visiting over the years save your time and money and go elsewhere

The PERFECT getaway! Our cabin was clean and very well supplied. Unlike some other places, conveniences like bedding, towels, and paper products were included. The kitchen has a full sized fridge, a stove and oven, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, dishes, glasses, silverware, pots and pans, etc. The bed was comfortable, the rooms were spacious, and the whole place was clean and well cared for. You can bring your own boat or use theirs or their kayaks. Very quiet setting, right on the beautiful water that's perfect for kayaking, etc. The owners were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and the rates were very reasonable. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay. 5 whole-hearted thumbs up. We'll definitely be back.
