The Villa of Greenfield

I have a parent of currently at the Villa of Greenfield. My parent has been there for a few years now. I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly while my parent has resided there. Over the past year, I have seen a whole lot of good things that have occurred from restructuring the staff to watching the positive growth haeen as a result. The cares have really come a long way from where in my opinion they once were and they continue to move in the right direction. The current staff is what I see to be extra caring about not only their positions, but also a love for their calling in life. As in most care facilities, going above and beyond their calling. I am comfortable having my parent cared for at this beautiful and clean facility with very caring staff.

I currently work here in housekeeping. I have to say, It's a very family like setting. I never thought I would say I enjoy mopping floors and doing laundry but it's more than that. I like visiting with the residents and most of them are very sweet. The CNA's are all really good with the residents. They have bingo going on quite a bit. A craft room where they can do puzzles and other activities. The food is homemade. I watched one of the aides sit with a resident and let her talk to her children which made the resident's face light up. So it really is a nice caring place. I started there in October and have really grown fond of everyone there. The girl that plans activities us an angel. She goes way out of her way to make sure every resident has the opportunity to participate in activities. There are even some family members that come to do bingo!! Google asked me to review so this is the most accurate description. Oh. And we have a Cat! Residents love the kitty!! Again, it's like a family here. All the staff treat each other with respect. I Just really enjoy the people!! Sorry my post is so long!

I had died several times and woke up in hell. In 16 months, i received no shower, .no edible government surplus food, no respect, denial of meds, abuse and neglect. It was dreadful. I was lucky that the cleaning person helped me with protein foods. I weighed 87 pounds. Glad to escape.
